One of the oldest Polish numismatic periodicals, published continuously in the years 1958-1990; a total of 384 issues were published. Numizmatyk Krakowski contained a number of articles very important to Polish numismatics, often sought by collectors and numismatists.
In 2019, Numizmatyk Krakowski was reactivated and appears as a publication of the Polish Numismatic Society in Cracow.
This is the first volume of the planned series “Studies and materials on Polish numismatics in the 18th-19th centuries”, describing the activity of the Warsaw Mint from the beginning of the reign of Stanisław August Poniatowski to the end of its activity under the tsars’ rule. Numerous color photos of coins and reprints of important documents related to coinage and legal acts.
